De Colores Academy

A warm, nurturing environment where young children immerse themselves in the Spanish language through engaging and interactive experiences.

Our Programs:

Our primary program, running from August to June, offers a comprehensive curriculum that prioritizes fully immersing our students in Spanish throughout the year.

Our regular preschool sessions welcome children aged 2.5 to 5, and we offer flexible enrollment options with no minimum or maximum number of school days required.

A Typical Day

We begin our day in the main classroom, where children can explore various hands-on activities that inspire curiosity, creativity, and exploration.

 

Our environment includes a community table for meals and group projects, a loose parts center, a block area, a home life corner, and a reading nook.

​

We engage in music, games, and conversations during circle time to enhance social/emotional learning, Spanish language acquisition, and early math and literacy skills. Outdoor play, lunch, and quiet reading time follow, ensuring a balanced and enriching day.

A Pivotal Foundation

De Colores was a truly wonderful experience for our son Clay. Not only did he get the education in Spanish, but he also received the most loving and compassionate care possible from the teachers in his 2.5 years at the school. Clay started school with some social anxiety, and it improved so much through his schooling. He felt comfortable with his teachers and peers, and he would come home excited to recount his day and show us his art. The graduation ceremony put on at De Colores was also the most personal and beautiful tribute to his growth. Clay looked forward to attending school every day, and we are so thankful for this pivotal foundation. I don’t know how anything could compare to his time at De Colores!

Now Enrolling

Enroll For The 24-25 School Year

To enroll, children must be two and a half years old by September 2024. Applications are reviewed upon availability of spots, followed by private visits before enrollment offers are made.
